Giacomo Ceruti, (also known as "Pitocchetto"), 1698 Milan - 1767 PORTRAIT OF A LADY WITH HAT AND FAN Oil on canvas. 115 x 90 cm. Inscribed upper right "ANNA MARIA Iunia / UNICA. ORATY / FILIA / ET UXOR / IGNATY DE Passis ". Accompanied by an expert's report by Dr Emilio Negro. This hitherto unknown well-preserved, large-scale painting is a significant work within the portraiture of Giacomo Ceruti, one of the most important Settecento painters in Lombardy.
