Неделя древних штучек Minoan goddess (12th c. BC, Greece). Birds, in particular water fowl, can be found in Bronze and Iron age objects of the Alpine area as well. Based on M. Gimbutas theories, I read those as symbols of re-birth and the life force of the goddess.
